Learning A New Life

Most people who start cognitive behavior therapy feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns in mood, self-care, or actions. Perhaps you can relate. Feeling anxious, worried, depressed, or tired from not sleeping can be hard. It doesn’t need to be permanent.

I’m here to work together as your therapist and teammate, so that we can find the thoughts and behaviors that keep your cycles going. Then we’ll work together to teach your brain how to operate differently, so you can move forward and keep up the changes over time to maintain your new life.

 

Remote Therapy

My office is located in New York but my sessions are fully remote, so that I can work with you wherever you are across New York or Wisconsin states. In the near future, I will also be offering therapy to clients in California.

I only offer remote sessions at this time, although I hope to offer in-person sessions in the future! By working remotely, I’m able to work with you on a flexible schedule and be accessible even if I don’t live near your city.

About Me

Hi! I’m Rebecca. I became a therapist because I wanted to help, but found that talk therapy by itself often didn't give people the extent of changes they wanted. I wanted to do more to help my clients make lasting changes in their lives, so that long-standing patterns don't continue to affect them in the same way. This led me to practice cognitive behavior therapy, which helps people learn new skills more quickly, change their default responses, and feel agency over their lives.
